For guests

Looking for your booking?

You have an account with the hotel you booked with, not with GuestPad, and we cannot look your stay up for you. Each hotel has its own guest portal at its own address, and that is where you sign in. Here is how to get to yours.

GuestPad is the software your hotel uses. We do not take bookings ourselves and we cannot see, change or cancel your stay. For anything about your reservation, your hotel's front desk is the right place.

Step one

Find your hotel's link.

Every hotel has its own, and it looks like app.guestpad.io/portal/your-hotel

  • Your confirmation email

The booking confirmation your hotel sent you carries the link to its portal, next to your confirmation number. It is the quickest way in, and it is sent from the hotel, not from GuestPad — so search for the hotel's name, and check the spam folder.

  • The hotel's own website

Hotels usually link their guest portal from their own site, often as “Manage your booking” or “Check in online”.

  • Ask the front desk

A phone call or an email to the hotel will get you the address in a moment. They can re-send the confirmation, read the booking out, or simply check you in when you arrive — the desk can do everything the portal can.

Step two

Sign in without a password.

There is no guest password to forget, lose or have stolen. Three ways in, all on the portal page.

  • A code by email

Enter the email address you booked with and the hotel sends you a six-digit code. That opens your account there: every stay you hold with that hotel, your bill, your agreements and your details, in one place.

  • Create an account

Choose “Create an account” on the hotel’s portal, confirm the code, and your next booking starts filled in. You can also tick “keep my details for next time” while you book. Most hotels let anyone sign up; some keep accounts for guests who have stayed with them, so use the address you booked with if you have one.

  • Confirmation number and surname

Choose “Find my booking”, enter the confirmation number from your email and your surname, and you are taken straight to that one stay.

  • If neither works

The email address has to be one you have booked with or signed up with, and codes expire. When in doubt, contact the hotel — they can read the booking out and re-send it.

Once you are in

What you can do there.

What each hotel switches on is up to them, so you may not see all of it.

  • Check in before you arrive

Confirm your details, photograph your ID, accept the hotel's policies and sign. The desk still greets you and gives you the room.

  • See and settle the bill

Your folio, invoices, receipts and statements, and a card payment if you owe.

  • Read and sign an agreement

For a longer stay, the rental agreement and any amendment to it.

  • Change, extend or cancel

Ask for different dates or a longer stay and see what it would cost before you agree.

  • Talk to the hotel

Message the desk, report something in the room with a photo, and read the notices the hotel publishes.

Work at the hotel?

Hotel staff have their own accounts and sign in to the GuestPad application itself — a different door from the guest portal above.
